SPA
the funniest thing happened on wednesday. my class had chemistry SPA (science practical exam), which is A level examination. so, its the basics, titration and spot colour change. for some reason or other, they happen to give us the wrong chemical to titrate.. the usual neutralisation is between acid and base, but they gave us base and base.. we dint know, so the tables affected were titrating the same chemicals.. thus there will not be any colour changeit so happens that the teacher saw me doing the wrong thing at first, so she thought that it was our mistake..but how can 8 people in the class make the same mistake.. lame sia..
Jeremy, ( our class clown) was brave enough to speak up while the rest of us continue pouring the liquid here and there..he told me he was scared, cos A lvl how can make mistake, but he told the teacher
" cher, wrong chemical, got problem"
cher replied:
"cannot be, you titrate wrongly"
then he said:
"cher, really lah, wrong chemicals"
" you try again, try again"
so Jeremy gave up, and he told himself..die lah, fail already, die lah..die lah..
thankfully, cher checked the chemicals, gave us 1.30 hr extra( which was waaay too much, thank God !) and we did pretty well, haha.. usually you titrate you only use 1/4 of a beaker..when i turned around the guys were pouring liquid up to 3/4 of the beaker, i was laughing and feeling worried at the same time..
oh well, its over, for those who din't understand, i'm sorry, go take chem.
